Who May Not Be Eligible for Placement
To maintain the safety, structure, and shared-living expectations of our program, Isabel Hope Harbor may not be able to accommodate individuals whose histories or current supervision requirements are not compatible with communal housing.
This may include, but is not limited to:
• Individuals requiring a higher level of supervision than a shared living environment can provide
• Individuals whose legal or supervision conditions restrict placement in community-based housing
• Individuals whose history presents a safety concern within a shared living environment
• Individuals convicted of offenses that are not appropriate for communal residential settings
• Individuals required to register as sex offenders
All placements are reviewed on a case-by-case basis to ensure alignment with program safety standards and resident well-being.

Placement depends on screening, funding verification, and availability.

Residents are responsible for managing their own transportation. Isabel Hope Harbor is conveniently located in South Dallas near Hatcher Station, with direct access to DART train and bus lines, community resources, and employment areas.
Access to public transportation supports residents in maintaining work, attending appointments, participating in recovery activities, and meeting daily responsibilities while building independence and stability.
